It sounds like you have the default MySQL configuration in
database = mysql://root@...>
You should change this to include credentials that will allow access to your
VuFind database... for example,
database = mysql://username:password@...>
This should have been configured for you when you ran the install script,
but perhaps something went wrong during that process.
