Initially 3ware implemented the SMART I/O-controls only in the 32-bit
version of the series 9000 driver (device name '/dev/sdX,Y'). The tw_cli
parsing functionality (device name '/dev/tw_cli/cX,cY', see man page)
may work for your controller. This requires tw_cli.exe in the PATH.
