Summary: Add/Remove field no longer available when entering data

I've updated my bibdesk version to the latest one, Version 1.4 (1701), and notice that now when you create a new publication, you no longer have the buttons add/remove field on the menu. Instead you have a rating and a read tick box. I don't know if this is a bug, but I think the old option was much better. Now each time I want to add a field I need to loose much more time because I have to click on Publications and the Add Field. It's not functional at all...
If there's any way to have the add/remove field button on that menu could please someone help me with that?
