Summary: feature request: autoreconnect to midi ports
Initial Comment:
I use QSynth. I often want to change my instruments. This requires restarting QSynth, and this in turn necessitates going into the Settings > Midi Ports menu item, turning all my QSynth ports to "none", then turning them all back to the appropriate virtual MIDI ports.
This is a giant pain.

Ok... if I was in a bad mood I could say this was a QSynth problem ;-P...
but I'm not.. though I guess QSynth could handle it better, MusE most
definitely should handle this better.
A "fix" is to use the internal FluidSynth which does not have this
problem, though I think it isn't as feature complete as QSynth..
