I'd like to see a GAIM plugin which allows you to set
up an IM to be automatically sent to a buddy the next
time he/she signs on, much the way that ICQ offline
messages work.
If I find the time to learn GAIM plugins and develop
this plugin, I will, but otherwise I thought it best to
submit it into the system in case someone else has the
desire and the time to see it done.

The buddy pounce UI has a checkbox for "Save this pounce
after activation." That would seem to imply that the default
behavior is for a pounce to activate only once. If that's
not the case, what does that checkbox do?
...
I just tested, and it does indeed work that way.
Again, thanks for the help, and sorry for cluttering up the
system with this request. Keep up the good work with GAIM -
all us lowly users appreciate it. :-)

A buddy pounce will send a message every time a buddy signs
on, not just the next time.
