Summary: buddy list: scrolling clears window in the process
Initial Comment:
When I scroll using the arrow keys in the buddy list,
the buddies disappear and reappear when I release the
key, this is a different behavior than a normal
treeview where scrolling doesn't clear the treeview in
the process

Since this bug isn't fixed I'm leaving it open.
Could someone move it back to bugs?

Although you have probably located the *source* of the
problem, this is an unacceptable fix.

Nathan suggests that Sean might have a better idea how to
deal with this bug.

I'm fairly certain this is a GTK bug. There's not much we
can do about it.
