Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I am aware that they use different runtimes.
Running the corresponding binaries was just to satisfy my curiousity. And to
my suprise, the cygwin binary (/c/cygwin/bin/ls.exe) could see the filesystem
space of msys, and not it's own filesystem space. So basically, I would like
to know how that would be possible, just purely out of curiosity. I have no
plans to mix and match. Is it because the forked cygwin process reads pointers
into the Msys dll instead of trying to read into the cygwin dll, and launching
