Summary: Why no config.inc.php3? Where is it?

Initial Comment:
After unpacking phpMyAdmin-2.5.1-php.tar.gz (on my 
server's doc root and also locally so I could peruse the 
files more easily) I cannot find the file config.inc.php3 or 
anything close to it. The installation instructions ask that 
this file be customized for my server, so without it I 
cannot see how to proceed in order to try out 
phpMyAdmin.
