Test version 2.9.6 of JMRI/DecoderPro is available for download.
This is the sixth in a series of test releases that will eventually
result in a 2.10/3.0 production release. Please post a note if you
encounter any new or old bugs. And please back up your JMRI files
before installing this.
Changes since test version 2.9.5 include:
• Improvements in several automating-running tools:
• Dispatcher
• Warrants
• AutoDispatcher script
• Improvements to how pulse-output (solenoid coil) turnouts are
handled through Lenz systems.
• Major update to Light support
• Multiple small improvements to Operations support
• More improvements and fixes to the new preferences dialog and
flexible system for multiple connections
and other improvements and fixes. For more information, please see the
release note:

This test version should be considered experimental. Please back up
your files! In particular, the new communications libraries have not
been tested on all possible combinations of computer hardware,
operating system, and layout connection. It's possible that when you
try this version, you won't be able to talk to your layout. It would
be very helpful if people _would_ still try it, despite this risk, and
let us know what is and isn't working. In particular, Mac OS X users
should see the instructions at http://jmri.org/install/MacOSX.html for
how to make sure things are properly arranged.
But please, don't do it an hour before your yearly operating session!
