That is almost impossible, since I'm running it through .xinitrc, or
somtimes with Xterm. There is no application which could steal my =
colors ;-)

There is such an option: -C: use private colour map. But that doesn't =
solve
my problem. Looks like bad luck for me. The problem child is a S3 =
86C765
(Trio 4+) Board.
Would be pretty bad if I couldn't get it to run on those machines, we =
have a
hole bunch of those, currently running Win95. Since they only need the =
TS
Client I thought about putting a small Linux Distribution on it.
