-3 doesn't correct the problem you're referencing but the /dev/%yada%
wasn't the description of the previous issue. The OP states he is
using Cygwin, maybe Cygwin is translating the i:\ missing a drive
issue differently. What I need the OP to answer is if he has I:\
mapped to a non-existent drive.

My build scripts are located at
https://sourceforge.net/p/mingw/mpmkr/ci/master/tree/ so you should
just be able to use these to build the source. Cygwin should work,
but I have not tried it, I use MSYS.
