CEDET

Greetings,

   I've posted CEDET 1.1 beta2 to sourceforge:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/cedet/files/cedet/cedet-1.1beta2.tar.gz/download

   Please give it a try and let me know about any build or installation 
problems you might have.

   It is my hope that this will be a short beta cycle, unlike the pre 
CEDET 1.0 releases.

What version of emacs is recommended? I've tried two or three times in the past to set up cedet for my C++ projects unsuccesfully. Is there maybe a wiki for setting up gtags, and the other prerequisites for code completion and jumping from declarations/definitions? Thanks, Brian

Thanks Alex. I've tried to go off of your tutorial in the past and had various hang-ups. It may have revolved around mixing versions of cedet and emacs that didn't work well together, or perhaps some of the other things I've got in my .emacs file. I'll try this again from scratch and slowly add back in elements of my .emacs file. If I have problems, I will start a new thread on this list. Thanks again, Brian
