I developed a solution patterned after UserAuthPubKey.java but without the gui components, it works fine on windows, but when run on a sun machine it fails with com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth fail
The java solution works on windows and the same key works on the sun machine when using the unix command-line /usr/bin/sftp.
Any suggestions for what might be the cause?
