CEDET

Hi,

I’m using “GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt6.1.7601)\n of 2011-01-12
on YAMALOK” (Windows 7 64-bit, in case it was’t clear).  I updated to
CEDET from Bazaar r8069 last night, after a gap of maybe a couple
weeks (can’t really remember).  The new version fails to compile.
Here’s the status buffer after the failure (I deleted all ‘.elc’
files, then used ‘emacs -Q -l cedet-build.el -f cedet-build’):

I’m attaching the compile log separately as it’s a little long and
contains many control characters, for some reason.  I can’t really
make heads or tails of it; in case it helps, when I try loading CEDET
now, I get an error about a missing ‘shared-initialize’ function.  I’m
assuming that’s because of the interrupted compilation.

Any help would be most appreciated!

Since you don't seem to have GNU Make installed, please delete the old version completely and install from scratch. If this still doesn't work, please update to a newer Emacs24-bzr version, since yours is fairly old. Again, delete the old CEDET version completely before compiling again. -David
