I am a beginner to C++ in general, as well as MinGW. I would like
to use RegEx in my code, but I'm unfamiliar with how. To clarify, I know
how to use RegEx, but not in the context of C++ coding.
Doing a good bit of searching, I still don't have a clear set of
answers, so please forgive me if these questions have been asked before, and
if it makes any difference, I'm using Win 7 x64.
1. Does MinGW support RegEx "out of the box", or do I need to install a
RegEx library seperately?
2. If it does support RegEx natively, what do I need to do to be able to
access the RegEx functionality within a source file? And where can I look
up reference information about the specific functions, their syntax, the
RegEx flavor, etc...?
3. How would I install a RegEx library if MinGW doesn't support it by
default, or if I wanted to use another engine?
Thanks in advance to any and all who are kind enough to help! :)
