I added some experimental code in Fire .31.c which should address=20
this... there's no UI for it at the moment and it's off by default. To=20=
try things out, quit Fire then do this in Terminal:
% defaults write Fire NeverTakeKey 1
This will make the windows pop up behind the front window when you get=20=
new messages, and won't take keyboard focus away.
The second thing you can do, is set things so chat windows don't even=20
pop up at all, and just show in the Conversation Browser at the top of=20=
your Buddies Window, is this:
% defaults write Fire DefaultPriority -1
This is similar to the ICQ style, but there are no flashing icons at=20
Try things out and let me know how it goes... to reset to the old=20
behavior, do this:
% defaults write Fire NeverTakeKey 0
% defaults write Fire DefaultPriority 0
