I don't think you can dynamically create and destroy objects in
Stage, but you can move them, via the 'simulation' interface. So one
option would be to write a client program that moves the beacons to
the desired locations when you want them to "appear," then moves them
to somewhere far away and out of view when you want them to "disappear."
