I am sympathetic to this one, but I don't think as it stands I can merge
this. Firstly, I disagree with the basic rationale: DESCRIBE on an
instance is not the right tool to find out what package a particular
slot name lives in (describing the _class_, yes); secondly, I think
DESCRIBE is an interactive tool, and the overwhelming amount of
information that this will print, useless in all but a relatively rare
event, will I think reduce the general utility. A smart interface on
something that's not just a TTY would make this much more possible, I

I'm afraid that, since neither of these is in my general area of
competence, I'm unwilling to merge these at this point in the cycle
(because I'm not confident that I could fix any issues that came up, and
because the lack of test cases mean that I'm not even confident that
issues with them would be spotted in any reasonable timeframe). I'd be
happy if some other committer can take that responsibility, or else they
should probably go in early in the next cycle so that they can be
exposed to more workloads.
