1. You should have created a "\localtexmf" tree (in parallel to \texmf)
when
you set up MiKTeX. The idea of this is to store any extra bits and
pieces,
such as personal style files and bib files (if not, read the MiKTeX
manual
on this point). So you should create the directory
"\localtexmf\bibtex\bib"
and place your "references.bib" there (you might for tidiness' sake want
to
create a subdirectory, say "\personal" there and use that).
You must the REFRESH the filename database using the appropirate tags on
the
MiKTeX Options Wizard.
2. Well, "seminar.cls" is certainly available under MiKTeX (the full
distro
includes it) - use the MiKTeX Package Manager to download and install
it.
