Just thought I'd give a heads up! If you're trying to build PyOpenGL
on Win32, and the path to SWIG is somewhere with spaces in it (and
set in your PATH), you're likely to suffer greatly.
set PATH=%PATH%;"c:\documents and settings\my user\My Documents
The build scripts successfully detect the swig.exe in the path, but
then promptly fail when they call find_executable(). I've traced the
problem all the way down to os.path.isfile() and os.stat(), which
don't seem to properly handle the quotes (even though os.system() has
no problem executing the file).
What an exercise in frustration. I'm going to try to submit this bug
to the Python core team, but I've never done that before. :)
