Your source file identifies itself has having GPX 1.1 extensions, even
though it doesn't seem to use them. You're writing as GPX 1.0 so we end up
with conflicting schemalocs which drives programs that are hyperactive about
such things (including Garmin's) batty.
specify "-o gpx,gpxver=1.1" to get a more pure GPX 1.1 header.
