Hello,
I have never experienced this bug before. It seems to happen due to an ASCII
encoding error which is raised when the TXT-file is saved. This is done
whenever you select "File -> Save" and at the beginning of each F7processing.
I have tried to F7process your sample text and it worked fine. Saving worked
fine, too. No problems on my machine, -- neither with the executable version
nor with the Python version of DocFactory.
Could you please check your installation? Be sure to use the latest tarball
of Docutils and DocFactory. (The messages of DocFactory which you have sent
to me don't look as if you are using the latest tarballs.)
I think I will build in a backup procedure which creates a copy
"[filename].bak" before a file is saved. -- Is that an option for you?
