I'm hoping one of you can guide me to find my mistake. I am trying to
'connect' the buttons 3-6 of an Insteon keypad link to MH, but I think I
must have missed a step, because MH detects the state changes when I press
button 3, but when I click button 3 on the web interface, the button on
the KPlinc doesn't change state.
Here's what I have:
In my insteon.mht:
IPLL, AA.BB.CC:01, Kitchen_Ceiling,
IPLL, AA.BB.CC:03, Kitchen_KP_3, All_Lights, myPLM
IPLL, AA.BB.CC:04, Kitchen_KP_4, All_Lights, myPLM,
For each of these, I did a "link to interface".
When I press a button on the KP, I see MH receive the event.
When I try to change the button state by clicking the web interface, I see
something in the log, but no insteon activity (no ACK):
09/21/08 10:45:58 AM [Insteon_Device] $Kitchen_KP_4::set(off, web)
09/21/08 10:45:59 AM [Insteon_Device] $Kitchen_KP_4::set(on, web)
09/21/08 10:46:00 AM: Saving object states ... done
09/21/08 10:46:04 AM [Insteon_Device] $Kitchen_KP_3::set(on, web)
09/21/08 10:46:05 AM [Insteon_Device] $Kitchen_KP_3::set(off, web)
It works for button 1, but I set that up weeks ago, so maybe I did
I also notices that in the Insteon menu for the button 3 and 4 links,
there is no status command, is this normal? Can't one ask for the current
state of a secondary button?
Can anyone suggest what I may have missed?
