A new directory, src/other/libtermlib, has been added to the CVS repository so folks following CVS will need to perform a cvs update -dP to get the directory. This "new" library, termlib, is an old version of the BSD library of same name (that later turned into termcap, and later still sucked into the curses API). It's a thin library to fulfill the dependencies we have in our libcursor and a handful of dependant binaries.
The library's integration into the build is similar to libpng, zlib, and others such that it should only be built/installed if a suitable system termlib/termcap/curses library cannot be found. This should take care of those system/users that oddly enough did not have said library installed already.
This should make the build finally entirely encapsulated again (with the exception of the standard C library, of course). For anyone following this build rencapsulation progress, termlib should be the last external dependancy left in the build system allowing for certain architecture ports to finally proceed again in full soon.
