To change mm/dd/yy to dd/mm/yy edit
/framework/base/src/base/org/ofbiz/base/util/UtilDateTime.java - in a text editor
or something more user friendly if you have it that will colour the code.
change all occurances of "day" to "month" and "dd" to "mm" and vice versa.
The order in which params are initialised is also important eg make sure in
the declaration it goes "init day, init month, init year" etc; and the string
constructors are in the right order eg toDate(day, month, year, hour, minute,
There are a lot of functions in this file so make sure they are all done and
done the same.
Recompile the class file and it will use standard (non USA) date format. Of
course you can modify as desired although it won't like a"\" as a date
Also check in the Java EE 5 SDK admin console (or similar) that the locale is
set to the correct one - it should pick it up from the computer but not always,
particularly if using some flavours of linux. Windows and Solaris works fine.
