I am currently in the process of planning an avionics system for a
large scale amateur rocket project. I need the following
1) 10bit Data acquisition from 10+ sensors
2) Ability to control multiple high current outputs
3) GPS receiver and decoder
4) Ability to take decoded GPS signal (plus other position data) and
transmit to a ground station through a 900 Mhz transmitter.
I have the transmitter, which interfaces through a serial line at TTL
levels. The sensors are appropriately amplified to a 0-10V range. I
was thinking about going through the GPIO lines for the output with
the appropriate isolation.
Would a netStix 200xm-cf w/ GPS, Transmitter, and multiple Robostix
cards interfacing through a SNAPS system be the best combination? Or
should I put the GPStix card in the stack as well?
Additionally, can I sample the A/D channels on 1+ Robostix card(s)
connecting this way at 100Hz?
