Thanks for the irc meeting notice, and shall
certainly try to 'attend' on 20120311 13:00
But I am quite NEW to irc, and although you
state the server is irc.flightgear.org#fg_scenery
I waited in vain on that server#channel last time,
with a few others, wondering where everyone was until
somebody posted a message that we should try
'freenode'... and then I 'connected' ;=))
I read somewhere that being on one should be the
same as being on the other, but that certainly
does NOT appear true for me when using the
xchat-gnome irc client...
And previously Martin posted -
irc.flightgear.org != irc.freenode.net ???
Maybe you can clarify this for me so I do not get
'lost' next time ;=))
PS: This is even more confusing ;=(( I just tried
irc.freenode.net, BUT now can NOT find any channel
#fg_scenery... What am I doing wrong?
But was able to connect easily to
