I can't confirm this: right now it seems we have normal response times.
You have to be aware, that in the background there are several
webrequests running. Each with a timeout. So if one ore more service is
not available, the timeouts will sum up.
E.g. early this morning the EZB/ZDB service from the d-nb.de is slow or
not working. The request will timeout after 3 seconds and use and
alternate service directly from the EZB. So you the request will need at
least > 3 seconds.
Let me know if you still experince problems.
