To get the card working you need all the pieces of the puzzle :)
You need to edit the /etc/modules and place hashes in front of the
two top mmc modules, delete the hash from in front of the pxa2xx_cs
Reboot the gumstix.
Insert the card and run pccardutil, which is the new control program
The status function should tell you that a card is inserted.
You then need suitable kernel drivers and typically these will not
autoload. We need to work on that.
To check run dmesg (kernel messages) and look at the last entries for
anything like 'orinoco' or 'hostap'
If there are no entries in dmesg or lsmod (which lists the installed
drivers) run modprobe orinoco_cs and check dmesg again and you should
see entries and hopefully ifconfig -a will show wlan0.
