I upgraded to the 7.1 release yesterday. In doing so, the upgrade CD did
not run a 'zpool export' when doing the upgrade. This should be done, as
ZFS sees the upgraded system as a new system and a 'zpool import -f' has
to be ran on the pool. Do this enough times or on different enough
systems the pool can be come corrupted. I propose that the upgrade
scripts should detect ZFS use and run 'zpool export' on any pools that
are attached to the system before the upgrade. This will ensure that the
pool is clean to import when the system reboots into the upgraded system.
