I'm not sure if here is the right place to post this question, but hopefully
someone will be able to point me in the right direction.
After using both the Verdex gumstix and Dell's
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dell_Axim#The_Dell_Axim_X30_family Axim x30
PDA, I can't help but realize they are pretty much the same piece of
hardware. The Gumstix Verdex and the x30 even share the same XScale PXA270
Does anyone know a way to use buildroot/openembedded, the jffs filesystem,
and the GUM bootloader on the Axim x30?
I think it would be neat to turn my x30 into an opensource platform. I've
heard of some other embedded linux distros running on PDAs but hardly any
are still supported. For this reason, I think the gumstix filesystem and
software may be a reasonable alternative.
Thank you for your thoughts and suggestions in advance
