Don't worry, I got it sorted out. I have my own server and had linked to it,
but for otiose networking reasons I couldn't see them.
I also hate to say this but I'm running Gnome here, and I really don't want to
have to change to KDE just to report screenshots :-) Someone can redo my
screenshots later if it's a big issue.

To me the instrument window is the window that shows the controls for the
instrument, and the instrument track is the row in the song editor that shows
that instrument being used to play music. Does that sound like a useful

I know almost nothing about how LMMS is structured internally but isn't there
something that knows what note we're up to right now in order to schedule
notes to play? Couldn't it just output when it's up to to the time display
control? But I'll take your word for it that it's a tricky subject and leave
it in your capable hands.
