Hi Joeri, in the doc directory you should have the admin guide. In that
guide, you'll have a full description of thesaurus managment in
The thesaurus of type place is not really useful you're right because
the information is in the DB. But we made test using Agrovoc Thesaurus
and others. You could upload Agrovoc in GeoNetwork. Then the editor will
help you selecting keywords.
There's quite a lot of other issues on thesaurus managment
(multilingual, store id instead of name) which have been discussed on
the dev mailling list
and during the last workshop.
