For various boring reasons I often have to scan files for non-printable characters
(usually the NUL ASCII character) and delete them. Currently it's a completely
manual process because I haven't found an app that will find and replace them
away. I notice that N++ has a TextFX Character function of "Zap all non printable
characters to #" which does pick up NUL characters, but I'm actually looking
to zap them away entirely. I tried the normal find and replace function but
it won't actually find NUL characters, has anyone any idea how to accomplish
this with N++? Or if not, are there any other editors that will do the job?
