I have installed Qucs on my new MacBook Intel Core Due, Mac OSX 10.4.8
It does not seem to work. I have been trying for hours now, reading
all available information on the internet.
Whit out any luck, and very anxious to get started whit Ques, I write to
What I have done so far:
1) Installed Xcodes from Install Disc (and even tried X11 from internet)
2) Installed Qt/Mac 3.3.6 GPL "Mini" for Intel-Macs (Core Solo and Duo,
3) Installed Qucs 008
4) Read all the FAQ on http://qucs.sourceforge.net/faq.html
When I try to launch the application, nothing happen.
I have read the FAQ no. 5, and tried too figure out, if this is my problem.
But being a non-computer genies, I have failed to succeed.
5. The ./configure script finds Qt® headers, but cannot locate the
libraries. What's wrong?Though the QTDIR environment variable is setup
correctly, it may happen that the configure script cannot find the Qt®
libraries because it is initially looking for the threaded libraries (the
libqt-mt.so link). If you have installed the non-threaded library (the
libqt.so link) configure fails. This can be worked around by
$ ./configure --disable-mt
On the other hand it may happen that ./configure finds the Qt® headers by
chance if the QTDIR environment variable is not setup at all but fails to
find the libraries then. Try
$ export QTDIR=/path/to/qt
Hope you can be of assistants.
