[Ndiswrapper-general] modem driver emulation in ndiswrapper

Hi,
   I ve a D-Link MODEM with Conexant Chipset. I want to know that, is it =
possible to use the windows driver in linux using ndiswrapper as you do =
for wireless devices. And please dont insist me to use the driver =
available from http://www.linuxant.com/

there are lots of D-link cards there, some of the entries even (gasp)
tell you what the chipset numbers are (vendor might make 2+ diff chips)


if you find it on list as supported, but you cant get it to work,
then follow directions here;

Na, he's talking about a modem, not a wifi-nic. Modems are not supported 
by ndiswrapper. Giri once said it wouldn't be hard to build support 
since they use ndis afaik too but there are too less people using them 
and so the work is too much though. Guess your only choices are 
linuxant's driverloader or one of those opensource modemdriver projects. 
Or investigate the time needed and try to implement the missing parts on 
your own ;)
