would not hold out. Actually the power cable to the motherboard melted onto

So this month I have been building a new sound machine around an AMD64 mobo. I
have fftw 2.5.1 and rezound 0.12.0beta successfully installed from the Gentoo
portage system. Everything appeared to work nicely, except that rezound
cannot load a *.rez, *.wav, or *.flac file of any size, from the command-line
or through to Open window, without evaporating in a segmentation fault. No
other error messages.
I thought I would try the latest cvs version, but after I log into the cvs, I
get an error:
can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv3903
Too many links
which I do not understand.
Anyone have any thoughts?
