I would guess that the bash source depends on *nix functionality
that msw doesn't provide but msysDVLPR does. If you want to port
bash to run natively on msw, why not start with a later version,
from FSF or cygwin? Perhaps you can use work someone else has
done along those lines already, with another shell if not bash.
