'Ere, I know the difference too! When I put virtual memory in my
toaster, it won't smell and burn like real dimms.
Actually, I loved tru64's lazy swap. I had some idiot c++ programmers
whose application would map several GB of memory, never to be looked at
(except when writing out a core).
