Concerning the process of becoming a ubuntu/debian package maintainer I
cannot help you since I do not know enough. I only know how to make .deb
packages.
However, what I wanted to say.. as a Gnome user I am looking forward to
use your Gnome application. Not that other UI projects have not done the
job but I prefer the look and simplicity of Gnome applications (due to
the HIG). I took a look at the screenshots on the project website and
they look promising.
So I hope you keep working on that.. :-)
