When trying to make executables (Python 2.3, wxPython 2.4, py2exe 0.5,
WinXP), my programs look weird - they don't have the native Windows
theme, despite the fact that running them directly (with the
interperter) works fine. This would not be a big deal, but upon
selecting a particular radio button the program freezes completely.
There's nothing special about that radio button, and again, everything
works until it's "compiled".
Now, the theme of the exe's reminds me of GTK1, and I do have a number
of GTK-related stuff on my box - XChat, GAIM, Audacity, Glade, pyGTK.
Audacity uses GTK1 only, for example. But nowhere does my program
feature any GTK-related code. I suppose I could uninstall and even try
to purge all GTK traces from my box, but that would be more like a

understand? How can py2exe and the other apps coexist peacefully? Or is
there something else I'm missing here?
