Hello,
I tried to update collections using the SOAP::Lite Perl Module to =
connect eXist via SOAP.
The attached examples worked for the standard standalone eXist =
configuration and the latest snapshot.
The example uses the xupdate function of =
http://localhost:8080/exist/services/Admin?WSDL
May be it helps a little bit.
(First insert updatetest.xml into a collection, then try the example if =
you have SOAP::Lite Perl Module installed and working).
Regards

Betreff: [Exist-open] PHP SOAP Xupdate
Hey all
I am using exist for my dissertation in the development of an =
e-assessment
system. I have used the PHP & PERL classes from sourceforge and can =
happilly
connect and query exist for the data that i need.
I have now come to trying to use Xupdate to change data within the =
database and
i can't find a way of doing it. I have tried to go through with a soap =
call but
it is creates a SoapFault as it isnt a legal function.
Has anyone got some sample code or hints to give me please. I dont have =
a clue
if it is to do with the wsdl supplied or how i am suppossed to interface =
with
the database through PHP Soap. I have got to have this done soon.
Thankyou to anyone that helps.
Martin
