I am sending this to both the ams and the muse list.
I've had problems lately in loading a not-so-old muse project. The
reason for this was that muse had saved the wireing between muse and ams
via jack ports. So in the med file, the ams ports where identified as
for instance ams_129_0:ams_out_0. At the time i was loading the med
file, the jackname of ams had changed, it was now ams_128_0. You can
imagin the rest of the story. port not found -> segfault.
this may both be stupid questions, so i beg your forgiveness in advance :-)
Question towards ams:
What is this number? iirc, this was something related to alsa seq? Does
it realy make sense to put it in the jack identifier? Is it supposed to
change at all?
Question towards muse:
Isn't there a "safer" way of identifying ports on foreign hosts?
I think this is an interesting problem, which should propably be dealt
