Hmm...ok. To specify: the way the cvs is updated for CS is that the anonymous ftp cvs has the release from
approximately 24 hours ago (propagation time). Overall, CS is pretty stable. I think the latest stable release is
tagged "R0_96_004". Even so, the latest anonymous cvs download works just fine for most everyone.
Which OS are you using? Offhand, I don't recall it being mentioned. There are some known problems with
Msys/Mingw under Win9x (including Win95). To find out what those might be, you can always search the archives
for this mailing list.
Can you run g++ -v and tell us what you see when you do? (copy and paste-ing the output to this mailing list
would be fine -- there is also another tool, "msysinfo" which reports exactly how your Msys environment is set up,
and, where binutils are concerned, this can be important.).

Fwiw, the latest anonymous cvs download also includes the latest CS documentation.

Ok.

Ok. I think it is important, at this point, to say that this, at first glance, looks to be something that is specific to
CS and really has nothing to do with Msys/Mingw. I look forward to hearing if you see any changes using the binutils
Earnie mentioned. May I suggest that you post your CS questions to the Crystal Space main mailing list?
There is always a possibility that some portion of Msys/Mingw might indeed be responsible for some errors
that you might see. To date, however, that seems to be, for the most part, unlikely.

Correction, "was" using binutils 2.13.90. Now using binutils 2.14.90.
