You mean, "forget about international support"?
Yes, there are several issues to deal with,
including:
1) incremental indexing
2) internationalization
3) XML
4) case-insensitive searching
5) Python support
The guys at Mnogosearch were interested
in adding XML capabilities, but I imagine
as they looked at it they realized how
difficult the issue is. So if I didn't
need XML, I'd probably use Mnogo, but
where I do, so I use eXist and then
use MySQL for simple stuff.

I find Google somewhat Googlized - the weights of
hits are never quite right. I'm not sure who does
better, but Google has "issues".
