Hi Arpi,

xine authors are usually listed in the module itself or AUTHORS file.
For this particular case we thought it is better to leave it as "xine
team" only. At least until things settle down.

I think if the svq1 authors decide in future to change that we will let
you know. Is it ok?

It's a xine tradition to make the actual source code "(C) xine project"
(note the small "x", xine is never written with any capital letters and
guenter normally complains if someone "spells xine wrong").
Instead Authors are listed centrally in the AUTHORS file.

In that particular case, the authors requested not to be named but instead
have the driver committed "by whoever prepares the release". If and when
they change their minds, they will be listed in the AUTHORS file, so
please refrain from asking!

I think it is generally up to the Authors to decide whether to put their 
name on a bit of code or not.
It is also up to the Authors to remember to put their name on a bit of 
code if they wish.
There is a separate Authors list, which should have everyone on.
