that was the thing I missed, I thought the default (serial)
would be fine and I didn't go deeper into that menu.
It works now, and it's realy "cool" :)
And I stopped mixing it up with IRDA support and utils.
The device is able to recieve signals from my "Telefunken IRC"
(this one lacks a proper name on it:) remote within 3 meters,
at daylight and in a dark room. The Orion RC-72 stops working
after 1.5 meters. I'm going to try more of them ...
