I don't think you can get 2 receivers working this way,
the drivers are just not setup to run more than 1 instance.
You could build a receiver with multiple IR-receivers.
This may require adding a power supply.
It looks like you could just gang 2 IR receivers together, as they
are open collector output(my Panasonic module is).
