I'm just starting with this MSYS thing. It looks very promising.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but msys will facilitate to build gcc
for MinGW just like we do for Cygwin or Linux, right?
Well, out of curiosity and with some excitement, I've tried to build
the lastest gcc snapshot (20020204) and, after identifying the system
Configuring for a i686-pc-mingw32 host.
and after a number of steps, 'configure' failed with
checking byte ordering... ../../gcc/configure: fold: command not found
configure: error: *** unable to determine endianness
As the script points out, 'fold' does not exist on msys bin directory.
I'm sorry if I'm attempting to do something wich is not supposedly to
work, and hence polluting the list with noise.
