Well, there was the mingwrep site started by Paul S. I don't know how
current it is or if anyone else has maintainer access though. This site
was created for this purpose.
I think that your suggestion will fit most nicely for this particular
package though. We could always link to any package on the SourceForge
ftp servers from our pages.
